15 WordPress Plugins You May Not Have Considered
A plugin – plugs in to your blog and provides you with extra functionality on your blog. I thought I would list 15 wordpress plugins – some of which you may already have and others you may not be familiar with.
To add plugins log into your blog – look for PLUGINS in the left hand side menu and click on add new, then just do a search for the one you want to add and activate it.
Managing Your Blog
Google Sitemap Plugin
It is important you create a sitemap for your blog so the search engines know how many pages and posts are included. It makes it easier for them to find everything – and you want to make indexing your blog easy – so add a sitemap plugin.
301 Redirect
The search engines don’t like it when you write a post and then it disappears – it brings up a 404 error saying sorry that post can’t be found. With this plugin if you ever delete a post an automatic redirect will take place so people end up on your homepage instead of on a 404 error page.
Multi Page Plugin
With this plugin you can create a newspaper type blog where you have two articles featured side by side – a little like a newspaper does. If you only have a plain free wordpress blog this is a great way to make it look a little different.

So there you have it, a list of plugins for your wordpress blog. Remember, that loading your blog down with too many will slow it down so go easy on how many you use!
